Betsy leads a team of art advisors that helps clients build and manage museum-quality art collections. With experience gained in some of the world’s most prestigious galleries, auction houses and museums, her team’s expertise covers many international collecting fields.
Betsy specializes in post-war, contemporary and emerging art, with additional strengths in Latin American, American and modern art. She started her career at a private Latin American art collection and foundation. Subsequently, she held roles at the Pace Gallery and Sean Kelly Gallery, among others, and founded an internationally recognized exhibition space in San José, Costa Rica. She regularly contributes insights to art publications and major media outlets.
Betsy graduated with a double major in art history and German language from The Ohio State University.
A specialist in 19th to mid-20th century American and European art, Fotini has served our art clients for over two decades. She provides objective advice on acquisitions and sales, in addition to evaluating and managing Citi’s international art finance portfolio.
Fotini has experience in both curating exhibitions and appraising art. She began her career at Sotheby’s and Hollis Taggart Galleries.
Fotini holds a master’s degree in Modern art and Curatorial Studies from Columbia University, and an MPhil in Art History from The Graduate Center of the City University of New York.
