Citi Private Bank and Sotheby's have joined forces to celebrate the unique power of art to promote understanding and progress across cultures via a global program called Art: Beyond Borders.

This partnership brings together two pioneers that help global art lovers acquire and build extraordinary collections. Our combined expertise, insight, and access offers collectors an unparalleled opportunity to explore the world of art from different cultural and geographic perspectives.

Art: Beyond Borders showcases exciting art and finds fresh perspectives from around the world through a series of co-hosted events across different continents, written editorial, and a specially commissioned video series called ‘Anatomy of an Artwork: Most Famous Artworks in the World’.

The program will take collectors on an enlightening journey where they may gain new insight on a wide range of art, from iconic masterpieces to ground-breaking new works.

We invite you to find out more about some of the world’s most inspiring artwork and how we might help you build, finance, and protect your collections.

This series starts with a short film study of French artist Paul Gauguin's 'Woman Holding a Fruit' painting which captures his infatuation for Tahiti and is currently at the State Hermitage Museum in St Petersburg.
