Laurence Stoppelman

Laurence Stoppelman is responsible for the Investments teams across Europe, the Middle East and Africa, including asset allocation, product advice, and execution across capital markets and managed investments.

Since joining the Private Bank in 2003, Laurence has held a number of roles in Investments and as a Banker and Team Leader. He became the Head of Investment Counselling for the UK, Israel, Greece and Russia in 2006, and was appointed Private Banker Team Leader for Israel and South Africa in 2011, leading our Banker teams based in London, Geneva and Tel Aviv.

Laurence was previously a portfolio manager at Insinger de Beaufort – BNP Paribas Wealth Management from July 2000 to August 2003.

Having served in a variety of capacities and working with some of the leading client families in EMEA, Laurence is well positioned to deliver a first class experience to our clients.

He holds a bachelor’s degree in private law and finance from the University of South Africa.

The investments team provide advice on portfolios, products, and execution services across capital markets and managed investment products, serving clients from offices in the UK, Jersey, Israel, Monaco, Spain, Switzerland and the United Arab Emirates.
