Laurence Mandrile is Head of Investment Counselling for the UK, Monaco, Nordics and Germany. In her current role Laurence manages a team of Invesment specialists across EMEA and works with some of Citi’s largest family office clients in the region. Her primary responsibility is in the management of their investment portfolios. She advises clients on strategic asset allocation, single stock management and advisory and discretionary portfolio management across all asset classes.
Laurence joined Citi Private bank in 1998 in Monaco in the trading room as a trainee. She became responsible for the $6Bln money market liquidity book with 3 months authorized interest rate gapping and was a FX trader with some authorized exposure.
She moved to Geneva to become an Investment Counselor advising active clients from the Northern European region.
Her next move was to London in 2005 to service active clients from the Private Bank leveraging Smith Barney trading capabilities. During this time, she became team leader of a team of 15 and one of her main achievements has been presenting daily equity, fixed income, and derivatives trading ideas at the CPB morning call and producing weekly compliance approved reports combining the team’s high conviction ideas.
After her master in Economics, Laurence received her postgraduate degree in financial ingineering with distinction at the university of Nice Sophia Antipolis in Nice.
