Daniel is responsible for overseeing all Citi Investment Management (CIM) activities in the Asia Pacific region. He is a member of the Global CIM Leadership Committee and of the Global Managed Investments Leadership Committee. He also serves as Chairman of the CIM Asia Investment Committee.
Daniel has over 21 years of public and private equity investment experience. Prior to joining Citi, he was a founding member of The Dellacorte Group, a private equity firm focusing on middle market buyout transactions.
Before joining Dellacorte, Daniel was a Senior Portfolio Manager at Wilmington Trust, responsible for managing discretionary investment portfolios for institutional and private investors. .
Daniel received a joint MBA degree from the NYU Stern School of Business, London School of Economics and HEC School of Management, Paris. He also received a BS in Finance and Management from NYU Stern and is a holder of the Chartered Financial Analyst designation.
Daniel L. Chan is a relevant individual of Citibank, N.A., Hong Kong branch and is authorized to engage in Type 1 (dealing with securities), Type 4 (advising on securities) and Type 9 (asset management) regulated activities in Hong Kong.
