Tracey Brophy Warson, Head of Citi Private Bank in North America, has been named by American Banker magazine as one of the Most Powerful Women in Finance in 2017. The annual rankings celebrate prominent women who are helping to drive progress and reshape their industry. The accompanying article highlighted the performance of Citi Private Bank’s North American business under Tracey’s leadership.

American Banker also cited Tracey for leading by example in her management style and for being a strong advocate for gender and ethnic diversity and many of her regional Leadership Team are from diverse backgrounds.

Five other female leaders from across Citi were named in this year’s rankings: Barbara Desoer, CEO of Citibank N.A., Jane Fraser, CEO of Citigroup Latin America, Elinor Hoover, Vice Chairman of Capital Markets Origination and Global Co-Head of Consumer Product Banking, Julie Monaco, Global Head of Corporate and Investment Banking, Public Sector, and Yolande Piazza, CEO of Citi Fintech.

We are proud of Tracey’s recognition in these rankings for a third year running. We also salute the recognition achieved by the five top women across Citi, which underlines Citi’s enduring commitment to championing diversity, and celebrate their leadership and performance which is an inspiration to colleagues of all genders.

Diversity is a source of strength and we are committed to a culture where the best people want to work and where opportunities to develop are widely available to all. While there is more work to do, we are proud to be driving change that benefits everyone.
